~~Mad Hatter Tea Party~~

The cake, pictured below, is calorie-free! (Pattern is in the side bar, if you'd like to "bake" one up for yourself!)

Miss Mouse likes tea, too!

A Mad Hatter Tea party, or a Mad Hatter Lunch?
On the menu: Tuna fish tea sandwiches and fresh fruit parfaits. (Fruit Parfait Recipe can be found here.)

Milk for the kiddies and tea for me!
Someone wants seconds! (I should have probably put up her hair today...)

Aaron and I made these paper flowers out of grocery bags, plastic beads, utility wire, and florist tape!
Mmmm...

The cup being used by Aaron (pictured above and below) was a gift from a good friend of mine a long time ago! Isn't it the coolest?
All done! Maybe I can get my guests to help clean up?

Paper flower tutorial can be found here.

What a delightful party thanks! I love parties with lots of different activities and goodies and yours was just like that. Your little cake is great and I love the mouse! Best of all I love being able to play with my food and make little models before I eat!
Lovely to meet you,

Well good luck getting your guests to clean up...it hardly ever happens at a Mad Tea Party...and of course I would help, but I'm late for more parties...perhaps next time??

That cup really is the cutest! I have another paper hat "pattern" using newspaper if you would like it then remind me and I will find a little kid (Loopy's noggin might be too big) and I will post a tutorial for you.

What a sweet party you assembled!!

I like the tuna sandwiches with the carrots sticking out, they look like tiny sailboats sailing off to the tea and the captain of the ship is wearing such a stunning paper hat! I love it all!!! :-)

What a sweet summertime tea party-when you have wee ones, its rather a good thing if it isnt a mad tea party! ☺ Love the embellishments on the sandwiches and those hats are wonderful! I never could make those-perhaps a tutorial on them as well!! :) Off to find the fruit parfait recipe, so glad I came by!

Your party has been especially enchanting for me as I am in the "empty nest" phase and adore chilren. The paper hats are adorable and the fruit parfait so yummy. Your guests are all so cute, it looks like a grand time was had by all. The paper flowers are really sweet AND a perfect way to recycle, repurpose and reuse. Thanks for the Southern hospitality. I do hope you will come back and visit me again sometime as I noticed from your profile that we have a bit in common. Thanks for your sweet message on my post.

Beautiful little faces ALWAYS make any party, don't they? Little fingers, and little OOos and Aaa, paper hats, and lunch. I prefer lunch to sweets, please don't tell a soul ;) ;) So, I think I am staying at your place for a while ;) Thank you for being a part of Wonderland!!

Sorry I'm late, I've just escaped from my own Mad Party.
Thank you so much for the calorie free cupcake. I was thinking I'd have to run a marathon to work off all the visual goodies I've indulged in at all the wonderful creative tea parties I've visited.
You party guests were much better behaved than mine. How sweet

It is so curious that these Mad Tea Parties are still going strong! I've yet to clean mine up, so please feel free to follow me back down the rabbit hole before life goes back to mundane!
